Frequently asked questions
Common questions about choosing products, documents and how to reach us. If yours is not here, use the contact form.
What is KEPCO supplier qualification?
A per-product qualification that Korea Electric Power Corporation requires of equipment suppliers. Only manufacturers that pass the certified tests and are registered may supply that item. SANION is registered for 345 kV line, bus and breaker-failure protection panels, 154 kV transformer and bus protection panels, fault recorder panels and more.
Do you support IEC 61850?
Yes. Our protection IEDs and the digital substation operating system support the IEC 61850 station bus as standard; some models also offer DNP gateways, IEEE C37.94 current differential communication and IEEE C37.118 synchrophasor transmission.
Where can I download catalogues and panel drawings?
From the 'Catalogue PDF' and 'Panel drawing' buttons on each product page, or from the Downloads page. No registration is needed.
How do I request a quotation?
Send your equipment details (voltage level, protected equipment, quantity, required delivery) through the contact form. The responsible team will reply. Attaching a specification or single-line diagram speeds things up.
Do you supply overseas?
Yes. We have overseas references such as the EVN substation pilot project in Vietnam. An English catalogue and English website are available, and enquiries in English are welcome.
Can I get test reports?
Factory acceptance test reports are provided with delivered products. Type test reports and certified test documents are provided according to contract terms.
Do you support site commissioning?
Yes. Our commissioning engineers support system integration tests and protection coordination checks after installation.
How do I apply for a job?
Attach the documents listed under How to apply on the Careers page and email them to the HR team (sanionhr@sanion.com). Put the position in the subject line and we will contact you after review. Applications are accepted year-round.
